We chose this organization because I AM HEALTHY is about being healthy enough to keep on living in the case of those children and families less fortunate then ourselves. Most of Vitamin Angel’s work involves the provision of nutritional supplements to charitable, indigenously managed health care facilities and programs around the world. Last year Vitamin Angel shipped over 100 million supplements with a wholesale value of $6.1 million to institutions and organizations in over 40 different countries. Campaign Vitamin A was created in an effort to address the needs of tens of millions of children worldwide who are specifically at risk of permanent blindness, severe illness and death from a lack of dietary vitamin A. We saw video of these children going blind, this problem is 99% preventable with the intake of Vitamin A. Vitamin Angel is preventing the problem. When you see children, helpless to receive the richness and value of life because of the lack of nutrition, it literally tears your heart. There are millions of children who don't have the luxury, and through the proceeds of this water we want to help make their wishes come true, so that for at least one day they will be able to say "I am so lucky".
